Yet it's called an afterlife. Many people refuse to fully accept death. They want to think it's just a transition to a different stage of existence, via the soul or what have you. But they get to live on in some form. That's why it matters to them

EDIT: Not sure why I replied to you though here DDD. LOL.

I certainly know that we are electrical beings. I've seen countless videos of the soul leaving the body after death. I really think they travel through electrical lines through lights, etc. Just too much historical belief from nearly all cultures of life after death for it not to be the case. And when I sleep I dream. I remember them sometimes. I would also consider we are literally traveling into another dimension in time during our dreams. One last thing, I swear I've countless times seen another dimension before I am fully awake and conscious right before fully waking up from sleep. I know others have experienced this too out there.

I leave it all at that because if I keep talking ya'll would try to get me admitted to a psyche ward. I think that Pitty would probably agree this stuff is real....don't know of anyone else on here though.

The comparison to sleep is obviously flawed because of dreaming. Imagine a dreamless sleep. Maybe you've experienced it. You wake up and have no recollection of any thoughts during your sleep, you just know time passed and there you are. I believe death is that, just... you don't wake up. Time simply passes without you or your awareness. That's the best way I know how to explain what I imagine non-existence to be like, beyond simple terms like "nothingness"
