Gave a lot of jobs to the community and good money at the time (70K in 1988 about 155K these days) covered up so many lies... tons of water safety issues.

I've never heard of that place but if you're into that topic check out a map of superfund sites in the USA. Pretty much the entire country has been contaminated.
We've all heard of the Flint, MI water crisis but there have been so many all over the country. NY, AL, TN, MO, MI, NM, etc. Most people have no idea there are radioactive fires burning in landfills in the U.S. Chemical companies used to just dump carcinogenic waste in rivers, lakes, creeks etc. until about 30 years ago. There were entire towns that had to be relocated over the decades due to the contamination. The ground water in this country is polluted from chemical and nuclear waste improper disposal.
It's sad that people get mysterious health issues or die abruptly and don't know why. I know why!Comment
