I think we have to spend more money on education. Give our young people hope and opportunity. Many of our young kids have horrible home lives. At least give them refuge and relief at school, where they can see a better way. If we don't instill values in our youth, teach them to respect authority, this country will only get worse.

This homeless crap started to rear it's ugly head in the 80's in the DC area and anywhere in the U.S. where federal funding was paying the bill. In D.C. it was St. Elizabeth's Mental hospital and after it's closure along with others due to no federal funding, it had a big hand in the tent city stuff you see today in multiple cities across the USA.

The Reagan administration pushed the doors closed on Federal health aid in the U.S. in the 80's. Yeah, I know protectorates of the Republicans, Democrats voted too. So where did all those patients go?


Bottom line, the patients were put on the streets with nowhere to go. I'm sure they will all be voting as well. They have all marked their calendars. Oh, wait a minute. They don't have calendars. Or a wall to hang them.
