#5043No that isn't accurate. He lowered taxed on everyone. Lowered the corporate taxes on businesses and thus many didn't leave to set up shop in another country. Also, the Trump tax cuts generated more money for the federal government than ever before.
Under Trump, the average household median income was $6500 over inflation and under Biden it's $2500 below inflation.
Nearly everything was better under Trump and if you did your homework, you'd know it.

This post sums it up very well. Regardless of political affiliation, Congress is going to get their money one way or the other. Compliments of the American taxpayer! They don't give a damn about anyone of us, just their own self interest! I'm smart enough to realize and understand that. Unfortunately the same can't be said for my fellow Republicans on this very forum (or anywhere else for that matter). all they care about is towing the company line and staying loyal to their party come hell or high water and to hell with the consequences!...Comment -

#5052When the first half of TFG's Fox News town hall aired on Tuesday night, it featured him saying things like “Amaska” for no apparent reason, giving an answer about Navalny when asked about the financial verdicts against him, and rambling incoherently about not being able to take a shower. Apparently these were the highlights, because on Wednesday night Fox News aired the leftovers from the town hall.
In what was such a senile moment that it almost accidentally became a confession, TFG claimed that if he retakes office there’s going to be “powerful crime” and we’re all going to be “proud” of it.Comment -

Stick a fork in the forgetful old fool
Biden's reliance on notecards at fundraisers worries donors
President Biden has been using notecards in closed-door fundraisers, calling on prescreened donors and then consulting his notes to provide detailed answers, according to people familiar with the routine.
Why it matters: Biden's reliance on notecards to help explain his own policy positions — on questions he knows are coming — is raising concerns among some donors about Biden's age.Comment -

No I did not forget about COVID it was on Trump's watch.
Also the corporations tax cut was a bad idea. If it had been smaller maybe 2 to 5 points instead of 13 or 14 it may have worked out but it was way too much.
How much did Trump add to the debt. He promised he would wipe it out and it would be easy.

Who knows what would have been the results in his 4th, 5th , 6th, 7th and 8th years if A) Covid never happened and B) if they didn't rig and steal the election. Sadly, we'll never know but we probably do know it would be great.
I believe that you have lived in the country your whole life but that isn't an excuse to failing to admit the truth, which is the impression I get from you a lot of the time. You hate Trump and you have so for many years. You have made that abundantly clear several times. Yet, what has he done as president (which it what we are judging him by. or should be anyways) to make to have just distain for him as commander and chief? Was it the border? The new trade deals? The middle East peace deals? Record low unemployment? Best economy maybe ever? Paying less taxes? What did he do to you that was so bad?
Then you take Biden and you give him absolute immunity for any criticism whatsoever.
Can't we all agree that sanctuay cities are insane? Can't we agree that people coming into the county by the million illegally is unacceptable? Can't we agree that paying less in taxes is a good thing? Can we agree that defunding the police was idiotic? Can't we agree that suppression speech is a bad thing? Can't we agree that allowing men to compete against women is stupid? Can't we agree that forcing someone to take an experimental drug in order to be a part of sociery is wrong and that firing them for refusinbg to take the jad is tyranny? Can't we agree that when a president flatout disobeys a supreme court ruling is what tyrants do just as in the case of student load debt? These shouldn't be partisan issues.Last edited by DwightShrute; 02-23-24, 06:14 PM.Comment -

#5067Awhile back that loopy My Pillow guy offered $5 million to anyone who could disprove his claims about the 2020 election. Someone took a look at Lindell’s data and promptly determined that it wasn’t even data from the 2020 election, thus winning the challenge. Lindell went to arbitration to try to avoid paying up, but he lost. Then he took his case to court, but today he lost that too.
This means that Mike Lindell, who claims he has no money on hand, has thirty days to pay $5 million or the process will begin by which it’s forcibly taken from him. So now Lindell and his pal TFG both have a running clock against them. Tick tock.
FA&FO
DipShit is equally as stupid as Lindell, continually claiming the election was stolen yet never being able to provide even a scrap of evidence to back up their shit and overlooking all the court cases which have laughed at them. He even fell for that fraud who produced that discredited 2000 mules!Last edited by Hareeba!; 02-23-24, 07:53 PM.Comment -

Nearly everything was better under Trump and if you did your homework, you'd know it.
1. Renewing the Trump tax cuts overwhelmingly benefits the wealthy and their businesses.
- The top 0.1%, who all have incomes over $4.5 million, would get an average tax cut of $175,000 in the first year (2026) if the Trump tax cuts are renewed (see chart), according to the Tax Policy Center. Those with incomes over $1 million would get a nearly $50,000 tax cut.
- Meanwhile, most taxpayers—55%, or 102 million households making less than $75,000 a year—would get an average tax cut of just $330 a year. That’s less than $1 a day. Households making under $50,000 a year would get an average tax cut of less than $200—only about 50 cents a day!

#50692. Renewing the costly Trump tax cuts will explode the deficit, thereby threatening funding for Social Security, healthcare (including Medicare and Medicaid), education, nutrition programs, childcare and other public services vital to working families.
- Renewing the Trump tax cuts would add $3 trillion to federal deficits over 10 years while mostly benefiting the rich, according to the Tax Policy Center.
- This explosion in debt would be used by Republicans as an excuse to significantly cut Social Security, healthcare (including Medicare and Medicaid), nutrition programs, childcare and other public services vital to working families.
- Republicans are already threatening deep cuts to these critical services—citing the need to reduce federal deficits—so it’s outrageous that they would propose to increase deficits with more tax cuts for the wealthy by renewing the Trump tax cuts.
- Congress should instead raise taxes on the rich and corporations so they pay closer to their fair share, and use the revenues raised to strengthen Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other critical services for working families.

#50703. Renewing the Trump tax cuts will further widen racial wealth and income gaps.
- White Americans generally earn much higher incomes than people of color and have considerably more wealth as well because of systemic discrimination. Renewing Trump’s tax cuts will worsen these income and wealth disparities because those tax cuts are much larger for most people with higher wages and greater wealth.
- On average, the annual income of white families is two-thirds more than Black families and 50% more than Latino families. The wealth gap is much worse: white families on average have more than eight times as much wealth as Black families, over five times as much as Latino families.
- One of the Trump tax breaks that Republicans want to renew allows business owners to deduct 20% of their income before figuring their taxes. Three-fifths (61%) of this loophole’s benefit goes to the highest-income 1% of business owners. Nine out of 10 dollars in tax savings from this tax break goes to white business owners.
- If the Trump law is renewed, people who inherit estates worth more than $26 million will owe no estate taxes. This will disproportionately privilege white families who have accumulated much more wealth than Black and Latino families. There were just 1,300 taxable estates in 2020.

#50714. Polling shows Americans (not Dwight who doesn't even live here) never liked the Trump tax cuts.
- Dozens of major polls conducted from the fall of 2017 into 2019 show that the Trump tax cuts were opposed by the American people, which is highly unusual for a major tax cut.
- In 2019, the Gallup polling firm offered an analysis of why the public lacks enthusiasm for the Trump tax cuts. Among the reasons: Americans don’t want the rich and corporations to pay less in taxes, they want them to pay more.

#5072Its amazing how people are so against being taxed less. I mean they must see the absolute waste these politicians are responsible for but somehow they still attempt to spin it as a bad thing to pay less money to the same people who got the country into a 34 trillion dollar debt while allowing millions to come in illegally and handing out crredit ccards filled with tax payer money to those breaking the law by coming into the country.
The AG in GA is paying millions to her fukk buddy who is prosecuting Trump. The AG in NY is apparently worth around 20 million on a $220,000 yearly salary and is now threatening to go to court to seize Trump's properties.
These people hate the USA. They hate White people They are the definition of racists. They are purposely destroying their country while making themselves rich. And you Lefties cheer them on and blame the one guy who is trying to fix it.
Its amazing.
