There just weren't many black qb's given a chance in the 70's/80's when Montana, Marino, Elway, Aikman, Kelly, Bradshaw, Staubach, etc.... were playing
But since there has been a fair amount of black qb's playing in the league, I cant say any stand out as all-time greats. Some good ones, a few really good ones but thats about it.

The Chiefs were a contender before Mahomes showed up, he was the final piece of the puzzle. I like baker but if u dig deeper youll see that the correlation definitely doesnt equal causation here. he's not the main reason theyve had some recent success he plays a part but not the main. browns were so bad there was no way to go but up. he has not 1 but 2 quality rbs also. baker went 6-7, 6-10, and last year 11-5 thats great a huge improvement, baker was 30th last year in completion percentage, 24th in passing yds per game, 4th fewest in passing attempts, he went 25 games in a row without back to back 250 yd passing games all of that means he's not the main reason for their recent success.

Let's remember, Mahomes took over a team that was already 2nd best in the entire AFC.

And we saw in that Super Bowl that he's not that great without a dominant offensive line.

But the difference in guys like Jackson, Murray, and some other younger ones probably as well to come, is that once those legs are gone, they have no true arm talent to fall back on like Mahomes does.

Buffalo was nothing before Allen, the team had struggled for nearly 20 years since the good teams with Levy and Kelly in the mid-90s. Allen made this team what they are, the Bills were nothing when he got there.

The media loved the story of a minority quarterback like Mahomes who was always willing to put the black lives matter mask on and spout the dumb left wing talking points, but now that Mahomes is starting to get exposed as a good but not great quarterback who has looked great only primarily because of the system he's in, the media won't accept that Allen is by far the best quarterback in the NFL. And its not close.

Allen is mobile, great in the pocket, durable, he does everything. And he's taken a team that was a zero before he got there and made them a contender.

Teams have figured out that Mahomes isn't that accurate in the pocket, and if you make the Chiefs go the length of the field by playing 2 deep safeties his accuracy issues often become a problem in the red zone. The Chiefs were a top team before they got Mahomes, but Mahomes was nothing special in college, and couldn't even most years lead Texas Tech to a winning record in the big 12.

Allen is clearly the best quarterback in the NFL and the left wing idiots in the media won't admit it since they like Mahomes and his dumb left wing trash being the face of the NFL. Allen would put up better numbers across the board in the same system Mahomes is in. Mahomes wouldn't be anything special in Buffalo, without Hill, Kelce, and Reid's system.

I don't know that he is the best or not with a defending super bowl champ still playing this year with 7 super bowl wins and that don't necessarily mean I think Brady is the best this year but he has a good argument !! As far as the media goes did they ever have a problem with Brady or Manning or Montana all white being the the best, now im just asking so don't take it the wrong way
