Once you deploy the military domestically, which is what Australia did, civil liberties are gone. The military is their to execute orders, they aren't their to make sure due process rights are upheld.

Again, the death rate in countries and states that did lockdowns is not different that the states and countries that stayed open as long as nursing homes and elderly facilities were protected.

The only reason Sweden death toll was high was because nursing homes weren't protected. The death rate in California and Florida is the same even though California was shutdown most of the time and Florida remained open. The death rate in Texas was low too. The reason is both states protected nursing home facilities well states like New York and New Jersey did not.
