"Kids need to get some mentoring, and I felt that science, technology, engineering and math - that's where all the good jobs are going to be in the 21st century," Abdul-Jabbar said.

some of the greatest players in their respective sports weren't very good at being head coaches or GM's for that matter. More often than not, it was the average players who weren't blessed with the talent, that were the best head coaches.

Sure there are always exceptions to the rule but just because you were the greatest scorer doesn't mean you will be good at other basketball related jobs once your playing days are over.

Well, personally, seeing that I got vaxxed 10 months ago and was directly exposed to someone with Covid 2 weeks ago and didn't catch it, I would say the vaccines work longer than 10 months. There's already studies being shown that the vaccines do work over time. More study has to be done. Breakthroughs are still very rare and people getting deathly sick is even rarer and finally people actually dying is damn near impossible. Yes, it happens but the numbers are very low. SO there is ZERO need to test people for antibodies right now. There's still a lot of discussion around boosters. We really don't have enough data. Of course big pharma would love boosters but it may or may not be needed.

But you sound like you are trying to make a point about unvaxxed being fired or tested every week. That's a different discussion.

I'm all for science and research. I'm sure scientist are looking at the data and trying to figure out what levels correlate to protection. BUT I don't think it's very accurate at all at this time. I've had the tests several times and the numbers don't really add up to me. Quest diagnostics did my last one and they gave me a lot of literature on the process and the gist of it was that it could not tell me anything on how much levels I currently had and if that meant that I couldn't get Covid. It basically said that the test can't tell anything but that you previously had exposure to Covid. That's it.
