Covid did overwhelm hospitals, I saw it many times. It tied up valuable resources. We had so many covid patients at times we couldn't offer services to other patients with non-covid problems

However, in addition to a majority being unvaxxed what ISNT being talked about a lot, especially by the left is that the VAST majority were old and/unhealthy. Thry had multiple co-morbidities

I agree with this.

This virus is mainly attacking unhealthy people, and they are the ones dying. Obviously if they have a genetic condition that they can't control, that isn't on them. But for the guy who is 200 lbs over weight and continues to eat at McDonalds, might be time to start going to Subway instead.

The media is hitting hard on getting the vaccine, and I understand that. I agree that it's important to get. But I wish they would focus more on how unhealthy we are as a nation. I went to Europe for my first time a few years ago, and the main difference between us and them is we are obese and they are fit. But it goes deeper than that, we are capitalistic society that tries to shove garbage to the consumer. There is a lot America can get better at.

Anything that brings in politics, becomes a clusterfukk . It should've never been at any point about politics.

Lot of good people lost to , some with underlying issues, some not .

I've came to realize as well . I don't have to be going out , restaurants, bars , etc. There's other shit that takes precedent, priority . I hung around the wife , kids way more which was good the first 4-6 months when this shit hit the fan.
Also saved a shitload of money during this as well .
