It's not a flu JIbbs, it's a virulent common cold virus. They are different.

Part of the early panic isn't just that it is potentially deadly, and easily spread, it was that it was a previously unkown strain of virus.

Previosuly unknown...that's the real big deal and cause for reaction.

Agreed, they identified the strain quickly and in that time it spread. It's really nothing new. There will be a peak spread and places like the US will fend it off in time with meds.

Reinhard Heydrich, the head of the SS and one of the main architects of the Holocaust, was killed by Czech partisans in 1942.He was the Reich’s third in command after Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler and the leader of the Nazi forces in Czechoslovakia.
He chaired the Wannsee Conference in January 1942, where Hitler’s genocidal “final solution” was planned. What followed were mass killings at death camps in Auschwitz, Treblinka and Sobibor.

On Thursday, an employee at the city’s Invalidenfriedhof (Invalids Cemetery) found the grave had been opened, Tagesspiegel reported.
Police say no bones are missing but believe the perpetrators must have had insider knowledge as the grave was levelled after the end of the Second World War.
This was carried out by Allied occupation forces, who asserted that the graves of prominent Nazis shouldn’t be marked, lest they be turned into shrines by Nazi sympathisers.

The way they are living on top of each other over there if this was a real virus that was going to threaten humanity there would be mass deaths. Don't waste your money, those are not going to help you if you are facing a air born virus. If they really worked you would see CDC and other medical people wearing them in areas that are infected. The only mask that is going to save you is the air sealed masks quarantine workers or law enforcement officers wear. The people walking around in airports with those paper masks are just kidding themselves. It is a joke.
