You guys are wayyyyyy off. That may have been the case 10 or 15 years ago, but it's definitely not the case anymore. Social media, especially Instagram, has changed everything. Most women who go on the show nowadays (and men too) have ZERO interest in actually ending up with the Bachelor or Bachelorette. They all just use the show to gain some popularity and social media followers, build their "brand", amass maybe 500K or so Instagram followers and start hawking teeth whitening strips and protein shakes. Depending on how many followers they have, they can make literally thousands for a single Instagram post.

And most who have any personality at all will get invited back on for Bachelor in Paradise in the summer, another opportunity to create some waves and cash in on that little bit of fame. And if they actually want to find someone, that's the place to do it. Basically 12 men and women on an island with virtually no rules and nothing to do all day.

Honestly I bet if you asked Hannah B if she'd rather have ended up with Colton or been the next Bachelorette, she would have chose being the next Bachelorette.

Sharp. You’re right. It’s just phony love. It’s always been phony but when they started the girls actually believed they were in love because that’s what they were supposed to do.
