first time I heard them was Ain't No Rest for the Wicked for the borderlands game and that is a great song. I've been listening to them ever since. It's impressive how they keep getting better.

Got tickets to Irvine show. Cage is one of the best live acts around. Saw them a few years ago at the KROQ Weenie Roast and they destroyed it. Was very excited to see the tour announced and have been playing Cigarette Daydream at least once a day since.

I spent about 6 months hanging out in a barn listening to Mellow Gold and tripping on shrooms with this chick I knew. Beck is kind of funny because I kind of fade in and out with him - Never seen him live so definitely looking forward to it.

It is fun. That one was kind of a mock cover but Beck does some great covers too.

Weezer is also big on covers, don't like their recent stuff that much but The Blue Album is a staple in the rotation. Kings of Leon does great covers too once in awhile, they covered Where is my Mind in Boston and it was awesome.

Come a Little Closer is awesome man, nice pull.

Foo Fighters played about 30 seconds of You Oughta Know by Alanis morrissette last time I saw them. I tried to find it on youtube but just found out Taylor Hawkins was Alanis's drummer on tour before joining Foo Fighters so makes sense now lol

and yeah, Weezer is doing a lot of covers. I just checked setlist.com and they just did a show with 5 cover songs. One of them was No Scrubs - TLC lol They also just released a video for Take on Me this week. I saw them last year and I'm going next month to see them with the Pixies again.

That's another thing I like about Cage the Elephant, their music videos standout just like beck's. If one person represented the 90's it would be Beck.

Yeah I agree but for the 90's U2 was pretty ridiculous too, Rattle and Hum and Achtung Baby were insane. I wish I found their current stuff or anything post 2000 cool at all.

Ah if you like The Pixies you might enjoy this then. Everybody covers this song, but I thought KOL did a great job.

U2 was definitely huge in the 90s, bigger than beck for sure. I meant Beck literally represents the 90s with this style. He captures the 90s with music and his videos.

That is a good cover, I always like listening to covers. I found this one randomly on youtube, guy kills it imo
