Remember watching a series of these matches as a kid, and I swear I think some of it was rigged like pro wrestling.

Mosconi was so much better than Fats he would always win the opening games easily, then, on cue to extend the match to the broadcast time, Fats would win one game, then Mosconi would bury him in the next game to end the match. I always thought it was partly staged so neither guy would be swept.

After watching some of it, you're right. I saw some shots by Mosconi, that no way in hell he misses that. Definitely WWE type stuff. Even the fake build up before the match.

I even thought I was better than Mosconi for a sec. LOL.
