"A Star Is Born" - Best Picture / Director Oscar Odds

Right now, I got "Best Picture" at +105 and Bradley Cooper Director at +325. I figure a month or so from now, these will no longer be on the "plus" side, so I got in now.

Bradley Cooper/Actor is already -250 & Lady Gaga/Actress is -110.

This just feels like one of those movies that's going to sweep everything, it's post-football, pre March Madness, my wife makes me watch it with her anyways - why not have some $$$ on it to make it interesting.....

Thoughts? Anybody have any inside info? Thanks.

Because the critics LOOOOOOOOVE "Old Hollywood" (see "La La Land") and also the remakes have been nominated so many times in so many categories but haven't won anything better than like "Best Original Song" for the Barbra Streisand one.

Why not get in on the plus side, before the nominations are announced and this thing becomes "ungambleable""

Taking my girl to see Lady Gaga in Vegas Dec. 28. She made me go see the movie with her twice and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I’d like to see both Cooper and Gaga win an Oscar for their work.

Anyway, great excuse for a Christmas vacation Vegas trip!

Sorry Pauly, I know where you're coming from, but - I'm betting against all of that. "Star Is Born" is the critics darling. I got in early, we'll see how it plays out....
