I hope he gets confirmed - the saddest part is this could have been a teaching moment for the country, instead it was politicized in the worst way. Even if Cavangh did what he was accused of at age 15 he obviously changed and became a good person - this is a country that believes in second opportunities, why would anyone judge a 50 plus year old man based on what he did at age 15. If the women wanted justice she should have come forward earlier, its too late now even though technically the statute of limitations hasn't run in the state of Maryland no jury would convict based on the known evidence and lack of physical evidence.
