Moving to cali in 3 weeks, got anplace and a plan

What I dont have planned out is my first 6 weeks... wife and kiddo staying put in Seattle so i’ll be traveling alone

I’vebdecided to tent camp until mid Oct to save a but of $. Plan is to spend the weeks in the Santa Cruz mtns, and venture out Friday night to other places

Id prefer to stay within 2 hours of Santa Cruz for any side adventures, you guys have any ideas?

Planning on Montorey and Big Sur, thats it. Theres got to be more the area than that

Anyone spent time in the Bay Area and has advice on things to do, whether outdoor or other??

It can get pretty cold up in those mountains in the nighttime

You may want to buy a used RV and then park in the campground

It would be a lot more comfy

Kraken try Pismo Beach which is a few hours south of Santa Cruz

Not sure what city you have to commute to but you can always drive back at the end of a weekend

Kracken look into monthly trailer rentals adventures in camping has very nice models they deliver and pick up and hook up all have kitchen bathroom beds
