Your actually looking it right and wrong. Yes they will become rare collectibles, decreased float daily. But let's say you actually eat this garbage?

You could in theory buy your big mac, get your coin (full refund) and you ate free. Roll the dice and give them coin for another big mac n coin a few times and you would increase profit ev.

Ex: 4 trades and original purchase =5 free $5 burgers or $25 +ev plus 1 coin. Now say they raise big mac prices because the promotion sparked a big mac frenzy. Now your coin is worth more.

Agreed, you have long term protection from inflation. That's a bonus. You could be in a position to sell them for less than a future big mac price and make some coin.
