Believe it or not, there are medical reasons why people kill them selves. Sometimes there's a chemical imbalance in the brain that warps the way you see the world. Maybe read up on it sometime.

I'm aware of that, I've experienced full blown depression and hopelessness myself after a severe concussion.. I didn't wanna get out of bed, didn't deal with anyone or talk to anyone for almost a month.. It was crazy...I powered through it though and knew what it was, I did it on my own. I didn't know for sure if those constant feelings of hopelessness and despair would ever go away.. I wasn't gonna check out though...

If you can think you can seek help, you still have a choice if it's that bad.. Take meds and or make life changes that help you cope and deal better.. You don't check yourself out!!!!!

Exactly! And he left an 11 year old daughter behind. I didn't even know who he was ( not watching much tv lately), but I know he had the means to seek help and not quit on an innocent child that needed him.

EVERYONE at some point, experiences bouts of depression and schizophrenia. Most people work themselves out of it but some do not. Unfortunately, 1 out of every 5 people will have a mental episode this year. It can be deadly, if they don't know how to deal with it.

Suicides are at an all time high. People don't have the cope mechanism's and haven't been trained how to deal with depression. We need more trained professionals but no one wants to foot the bill.

Men have failed this country, our local communities and our family structure. Women have basically taken over because we've become wimps. We stopped leading. Women had to step up out of necessity because we were afraid to lead. We use to put our women on a pedestal. They were happy because we made them happy by putting them first. Then some of us went the other way, started treating other guys better than our women, started loving other guys better than our women. Men stopped going to church, so the family stopped going. Take God out of this country and this is what you get. Men stopped leading the local community center or the local city council meeting. Women had to take up the slack. Men stopped eating dinner with their family, they stopped showing up to family functions, they stopped being around. So now you have young boys being raised by their momma's because the deadbeat dad wasn't there. Men stopped being men. I don't know what most men are today???
