As a kid the swimsuit and evening gown portions were always my favourite part; now it seems they're even getting rid of the gowns! They're hoping this increases ratings... I suspect it won't at all.

Women should have to freedom to do whatever they want but If this is the rules of the pageant, and some feel they want to show off their bodies then they can enter another contest, ie. Swimsuit contest at the beach or something.
