A good mix of the original artist and the stage singer is key. If stage singer sucks then drown them out with the original performer and vice versa. Gotta have good sound system a a good mix between stage and original

Well if you just sit there like a stiff and judge drunkards belting out popular tunes like you're Simon Cowell on American Idol, of course you're going to hate it. You have to partake in karaoke to appreciate karaoke.

Drunk people need direction. Karaoke gives them something to do other than billiards, darts, and vomiting into potted plants.

Karaoke is so fun.. I cant sing for shit but its always fun to go and see all the liquid courage spew out in the microphone .. i have to say i have come across some amazing singers but in the dive bars i listen to karaoke in in toronto they are not going to be "discovered" but its a good time. Great money from a bar owners perspective. Its good free entertainment.. sometimes your ears hurt at the end but hey lol at least you got a free show

Filipina girls are not Asian. There Oriental. Lol
But yes they love Kereoke. But for Asians, Vietnamese or Chinese not so much. They usually sing with there own community with a band.
