I been traveling for like maybe 7-8 years perpetually (including many dives on the nights I occasionally get stuck paying for a room) and, if I ever been where there were bed bugs, they didn’t get in my bag.

BTW this has zero to do with the quality of the hotel. I can remember hearing about several high end hotels in Vegas that had them. Obviously one would hope higher end places would be quicker to deal with an outbreak but bed bugs don’t give a shit about how many stars a hotel has.

How do i check?

Very easy to check...

Buy some powered Sugar and sprinkle it all over your nuts. Roll back and forth across the bed sheets dragging your nuts in the process. After 10 minutes, Squat on the toilet and see if you see any bed bugs jumping off your nuts into the toilet bowl. No bugs detected, you are home free.


You can also substitute gasoline and a match for powered sugar. Mmmm, barbecued Bed Bugs.
