No, I've been thru the worst and I don't have it in me to give up. I would have to be dragged into the grave before I quit on life ( pain or not). Not to mention, my little boy need's me. Sometimes, the adversity or dealing with pain makes you a stronger person. If the doctor said that it was a fatal disease or situation, I would fight for dear life, pray to the higher power and test it. No drinking, etc.
