those directly viewing it found themselves in the surreal position of mentally processing that the first lady was actually climbing on to the back of the presidential limo to retrieve a portion of her husband's skull that had just been blown right out of the back of his head and onto the trunk (from a gaping wound in the BACK of his head -- obviously from a shot NOT fired from the texas school book depository --which by the way was owned by another rich oil man named Byrd, who'd also be hurt by kennedy's stated intent of repealing the oil depletion allowance, which would cost him, muchison, and other wealthy texas oil men MILLIONS).... so she could try to "hold it on" until they could obviously seek medical attention....

Co-incidentally there was tv program on last night investigating what it is like to eye witness a really shocking event. Was interesting how the mind can block everything else out, including sound, and super focus on just particular aspects. They might might know the color of the buttons on the victims jacket... but cant get the killers skin color right sometimes. As the brain was locked on the victim and trying to process what is happening so hard it loses everything else.
But sure you know this stuff.
Have to say it does look like a strange reaction. Would imagine most of us would duck, not jump up high on the trunk..Comment -

as for the earlier, they've done tests on audiences where a prick runs through, fires a bunch of shots at the speaker, and then they gather all the witness accts to see how much they vary....
amazing, that many report different numbers of shots, different colors of clothing, what the shooter yelled, wore, looked like, etc....
