Been looking forward to it. Feels like it's been so long even though the summer break is longer.

Don't get why everyone hates Negan so much as a character. He is a better leader than Rick.

Negan's cool... sad shit he is a victim of censorship and cant say fukk/shit and all the goodies to translate his passive aggressiveness better! Oh and good news, Scott Gimple was removed as the show runner after his bad decisions...

New showrunner starting season 9.

No chance. I have been reading/watching closely the whole PR debacle following his firing. Chandler's dad (Carl) charged against AMC and Scott Gimple hard.

Andy Lincoln (Rick) said publicly he does not agree with the decision and feels very disappointed about it.

Norman Reedus (Daryl) said AMC people need to be careful cause they are killing the show by killing the main characters...

Lauren Cohan (Maggie) signed to be the main character of a new pilot show on NBC and her agents have complained publicly about AMC being cheap and ridiculous on their offers to keep the actress.

Basically AMC wants to spend $2 million per season tops and make $200 million... is a fukkin scam that network... actors disgruntled, a double died last season on a stunt... lots of suing going on... its a disaster.

They're actually bringing nudity to it in one of the episode. They're actually going to have a nude zombie. Sounds desperate.

Yeah man sadly I wont defend this show, cant... they ruined it (AMC+Gimple)... all they had to do was to follow the comics and not be cheap fukks with the budget...

BUT NO... Got greedy and the golden egg goose is about to choke. Quality downhill this last 2 seasons.

They're trying to draw out the story line so they have the show running for another 6 years. All about money.

Talked to a lot of my friends who are die hard fans of The Walking Dead... they told me they are starting to lose interest.... same BS every week etc. I'm also losing interest. When will AMC cancel the series? Looks like the zombie epidemic is dying out.

This show is still the bell cow for AMC, it ain't going away anytime soon. Thought tonight's episode was good (not great), while Negan is a great character the series has suffered from the whole "All Out War" story arc, which will thankfully conclude this season.

I like the show but could not get through it last night. I thought it was just horrible. I actually turned it off. Don't even know if the kid dies, but reading your post makes me believe he did. What a terrible episode last night was. That is unless the last 20 minutes or so made a gigantic improvement.

We fast fwd much of last night’s show. There were some good parts but far too much Carl.

I feel like each episode could be 5 minutes long if they wanted to... instead they drag it on for 45 minutes. Longest death ever, followed by weird rick closeups and gross piles of human goo

It's usually the problem of most of the tv series which last so long that they should do. Directors should learn to stop at some point.
