The whole National Anthem is getting dumber and dumber by the day on all sides.

The NFL owners were allowing this to go on hoping it would fizzle and it's not. The players just don't care. Bottom line..... It says in the CBA, if there's conduct by a player that affects revenue, they can get rid of the player. That's what is going to happen next.

Actually, this all started because Kaepernick felt disrespected that he had to compete with Gabbert for the starting job during preseason last year, so he sat during the National Anthem. Then it spiraled out of control after that into the mess that it is now.
