Anyone ever miss a Norwegian cruise?

I brought both of my kids birth certificates..... And I assumed mine was packed.......well when they asked for mine ........I accidentally packed my wife's death certificate...... Needless to say I wasn't allowed on the ship because all I had was NY driver license. Social security card, and voters registration card....unfukenbelievable...

Needless to say my kids didn't go....so now we are stuck in Orlando til Dec 27......which has great weather.... But 15 family members went on cruise so it sucks .

Plan something for a year.....save vacation time.....lose 3 grand to cruise......then get stuck in a place you weren't supposed to be at......Had to vent!!!

Went to Bermuda from Philly on Norwegian about 13 years ago. Don't remember having to take my birth certif.
Didn't need a passport back then either. Worse trip ever. Hurricane went through Bermuda a week before.
They haven't had one for 50 years. Seas were rough to and from. Wife sick as a dog. Was only a 700 footer.
