Terrible photo of an incredibly rare Porsche Carerra GT. One of 1500 on the planet. Most are probably in collections and do not get driven. Considered by some to be the greatest supercar ever made.

These things cost upwards of million dollars these days. Was the best photo I could take as it drove by. True unicorn spot.

BMW M3 E30 Sport Evo is for sale in my city right now. 149.999€....
M3 E30 that are in an acceptable condition start at around 45.000€ right now in Germany....
The Cecotto Edition starts at around 90.000€

My family has some nice cars standing around in the garage/museum.
Among them are the BMW 502 V8, BMW 503 (not in a good condition unfortunately, but what a fukking nice car....), BMW 850 CSi (still one of my favorite cars of all time), BMW Z1 (perfect condition), loads of old Glass cars, few Gogomobile, one Isetta, Renault 5 Turbo (that car is INSANE!! It's unreal fun to drive that one!), Renault Caravelle Coupe, etc etc etc
Used to have a BMW M1, but that one was sold in the early 2000s because the offer was too good to not do it (went straight to the Emirates...)

Next time I'm home (might not be too soon...) I'll try and remember to shoot some pics for you!

That is a remarkable collection of cars. Especially the M1 and the Renault 5. I always figured having access to a 5 Turbo would be the death of me. Huge turbo lag and short wheelbase. Thing spins like it's no body's business apparently. I take it your family is into Motorsport if hey have a museum / garage of that caliber. I think I remember you saying once that your grandfather raced many years ago? Very cool stuff.

Seems like people either are or aren't from racing families. I am not from one

Be sure to get some photos next time you are back. A collection that cool ought to be shared. I have never driven anything pre 70s so I imagine that's an interesting experience.

First time clicking this thread and yous are talking about m3's. Was my fav car all my life and when i got some money I figured I'd buy a 2006 (last year of the e46). Only drove one and it was a pos. Found one that was pretty as penetrate sitting in the showroom, but the guys were Russian or something and assholes so I said penetrate it. Actually got drunk and winged a trip to NYC to look at one, but the guy was insane and I never even made it to his place. Got lost in the city with no car, but that's another story.

Would take pictures of em if I saw em. People drive those out in the boondocks but not really down town.

I'm not sure what rice burners I've been taking pictures of that weren't taken tongue in cheek. If you consider a GTR Nismo a "rice burner" then that is unfortunate.

I can't think of anything less like a super car than a Karmann Ghia.
