Dental Insurance is worthless. I've never heard of a plan that pays for fillings and up.

Yea the company I work for has bare minimum coverage so almost all outta pocket

I had all 4 pulled out in one shot about 10 years ago.
The only advice that I can give you is after the surgery try not to suck out your own blood clots from those holes when you try to spit your bloody saliva. Otherwise dentist is going to give you the artificial ones and those are not fun at all.

yea really trying not to go back ha. hopefully they heal pretty quick. I heard a week?

yeah about 7-10 days...they put an artificial blood clot in one of the holes for me, so that one took about 3 weeks to close up

chew on some shaved ice and don't use a straw in the first few days after the surgery

i still have mine at 24, they kept saying i needed them out at 18 etc

but they don't bother me so

Woke up this morning to only one of the four hurting. Praying to god it stays like this.

yeah its weird they hurt randomly for a short period of time, but overall, i think they just kept telling me i needed them out for $ and scaring me with "your teeth will be crooked when they grow in!!!"

Hang in there dude. Take the suggestion from the guy who told you about the shaved ice. When I was in the Army, I was in the infantry where we were in the field a lot, for two, three, even four or five weeks at a pop. Hardly any of us had wisdom teeth, because to get out of a week or so of those things we'd get our wisdom teeth pulled. We could only pull that scam once, but it was worth it. (Plus, we were badasses)
