i've been to a helluva lot more George Strait (3), Alan Jackson (2), Hank Jr (4-5, maybe six), Dwight Yoakum (2), Lyle Lovett (3), Brooks & Dunn (2), Clint Black (2), Junior Brown (1), ETC. ETC. concerts than I have rock concerts, but the tickets were free and at the very front.....

plus, i did listen to GNR back in law school..... along with Nirvana and Alice in Chains....

safe to say I have a pretty broad musical taste range.....

ps... my cousin used to play a mean steel guitar on the dash above the steering wheel while driving down to the ranch completely hammered after/during a night of extreme drinking, particularly to this song:
