Nooooo. The Mayan god that is to return...which according to summarian text is one of the Anunnaki from the planet Nibiru,is Quetzalcoatl or Kukulcan (Ququamatz) and the Egyptions knew him as 'Thoth' (different names in different civilizations), was their god of life, fertility. Then again, the Aztecs knew him as gods of the wind, of Venus, of the dawn. The verdict is still out among scholars and different civilizations what his official title was.

Dig into the first written language and civilization of man - the Summarians, and their scriptures, and you'll find more info on Anunnaki, and how they were perceived throughout many different civilizations - ex. Greek Gods (Zeus), Eastern European Gods (Thor), China's Gods, Mayan, etc.....their all the same. They like to travel and probably earned a boat load of travel reward points.

It isn't Quetzalcoatl that returns, it's Bolon Yokte Ku. The only archeological evidence found so far that has any reference to what will actually happen in 2011/2012 is monument 6 from Tortuguero. The current reading of this ancient inscription by professional Mayanists is that we will then "witness the display of Bolon Yokte Ku in his full costume and regalia."
