Playboy and Instagram sensation Katie May took a nasty fall during a photo shoot last week, injuring her neck, and that is the leading candidate for what caused her fatal stroke ... TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge of Katie's situation tell us the accident happened late last week when she was shooting in Los Angeles. We're told Katie's neck pain after the fall was so bad, she went to a hospital to get checked out, and was released later that day.
But on Friday the pain remained -- she tweeted, "Pinched a nerve in my neck on a photoshoot and got adjusted this morning. It really hurts!"
Our sources say the operating theory is the 34-year-old model did not pinch a nerve, but instead tore the carotid artery in her neck. As we first reported, doctors told Katie's family the tear caused a blood clot which broke off and caused her stroke on Monday. It's called a carotid artery dissection.Comment -

This is bullshit. There is no proof that the Chiro did this. The coroner made a terrible call. She very well and most likely tore the artery in the fall and it took a few days for a hematoma to form and burst.Oh wow:

I stand 100% behind my post. My knowledge of the subject would already have me skeptical of this report from the coroner, and with just cause.
After researching the case a little more, I call bullshit. It has to do with the nature of the injury and the technique of the adjustment as well as the players involved in the case.
Don't believe everything you read, especially official reports that come out of what can essentially be a political office.
You don't have to believe some poster on the net either, but not much research into it would probably have you second guessing the ruling yourself.
It has nothing to do with the coroner's knowledge, like I said, the coroner made a call...and it was terrible. Sad indeed.
