Does anyone here own a Sleep Number bed?

Is it amazing? I see all the commercials but i am bit skeptical bc what if the technology breaks and your bed gets stuck in a weird position?

bruh,

my bed fukkin sucks its like sleeping on cement.

i am wanting to buy a new mattress but i am afraid to go to mattres stores until i have an idea of what is the best bed and what is a fair price...

i have heard mattress salesmen can be very pushy and i dont want to get suckered into making and impulse decision and finding out i overpaid later on

ive seen the commercials for these...but never been to a sleep number store

let me give you the rundown on these pieces of shit called sleepnumber matresses...... THEY ARE AIR MATTRESSES..... Plus, they suck for sex, as they have a hard division line between the two matresses, such that you can't get your freak on in the middle of the bed..... you have to choose one side or the other.... i know this from experience, b/c two swinger couples who wanted me to "service" the wife had such beds...... i'm sure the videos teh husbands made look weird b/c his wife and I are fckin' only on one half of the bed.....

bottom line, they might work for u if you have no sex life........

Tempurpedic is great! They had them in the Revel casino and you just slowly sink into it. Super comfortable!

I'm not sure what AD is talking about we used to have one and it didn't have a hard barrier between the two sides. It had a piece of soft foam. Never even knew it was there until we moved.

Overall it was ok but not great. Def over priced. We won't buy another one

i tried one and couldnt believe "100" was their highest firm setting, not even close to what I needed.
Much hot air about nothing. Found a stiffer bed at half the price. Need something more solid for my back back.
over hyped priced, and very ordinary at best.

What autodonk said, its like two air mattresses. Crease in the center. Near impossible to cuddle/get freaky on. Not worth it

Would dare not pary 2-3k for no damn mattress.

A little advice I have for someone who's going the foam route.... get at least 3-4in of that Cooling Foam/Gel inside your mattress. It's suppose to cut down on the extra heat that regular foam holds in. Get a foam mattress with proper air flow. If the heat doesn't escape... it's like sleeping in HELL at night.

We had one of those soft pillow-top mattresses and I always had back problems. We got a new mattress that wasn't pillow top and it was very firm. No back problems anymore. And it's great for extra-curricular activities.

Sometimes I wish they had those older mattresses when you could flip them over? Remember that? To me... that gave me the best rest. I guess they don't make em like that anymore? Every damn mattress has that pillow top crap... and you can't flip em over.
