Que tristeza, mae. Eso frase es un razon xq los estados unidos es lleno con medicamentos de antidepresantes, anti-ansiedades, presion alterial alta, etc. Es xq la mayoria de la población no es feliz. Trabajando solo por los fines.

I actually get too much pay. I'm always like "Hey Boss, don't even send me a paycheck this week, all this extra money is meaningless to the likes of a Jimmy Proffett."

you should never be satisfied....you should always strive to do more and be better and make more...like JP Morgan's interview question for I Bankers...."How much do you want to make to be happy"....People answer with a few million, 5 million etc...they aren't hired, but the ones who say as much as possible and then some get the second look

I am satisfied, disagree slightly with anyone that says never be. I understand the point but I refuse to go through life unsatisfied wanting more. Im happy and content. More money wouldn't change that.

Back in 2002 when I worked for this hot startup company, they gave an 8% increase on my first annual review, which was top of the line increase for that company. I didn't sign the papers, but asked my director to do the market evaluation of my salary or I'm out. An hour later they came back with 20% increase...simultaneously I did my own market analysis for my position and told them 35% or I'm out. Another 30min later I was making that money.
So instead quitting your job, perhaps you could have asked them to reevaluate your pay.
