    The Wolf of Wall Street
Has anyone else seen this movie? I read the book several years ago and I guess the movie is pretty faithful. A lot of critics have attacked the film saying it is immoral and Jordan Belfort isn't punished for his crimes. Bret Easton Ellis has said it's his favorite movie of 2013. I think a lot of people who see the movie make the same mistake they did with Oliver Stone's "Wall Street". This movie does not condone the behavior of the protagonist and his minions nor does it condemn them; it just shows what happened. It's a pretty entertaining movie at 3 hours and Jonah Hill gives a great performance. Margot Robbie is absolutely stunning and a great discovery. Hottest blonde I've seen since Amanda Heard.

Mediocre at best. Dallas Buyers Club and American Hustle were FAR better films.

Speaking of Bret Easton Ellis, why do his books always kinda suck. I hear how dark and disturbing they are, I read them, and they ain't shit. 'Less than Zero' and 'American Psycho' were better movies (but not great movies) and that's almost never the case.

      Anyways..

I feel the opposite. I liked Wolf of Wall Street and thought American Hustle wasn't very good. I made a lot of excuses for the movie because I really wanted to like it, but it still came up short.

I'm reading american psycho right now and half the book is about critiquing what someone else is wearing. Literally half the book is like "he is wearing a ralph lauren tie, john paul gaultier wool vest, d&g horn rimmed glasses blah blah blah"

I know Bret Easton Ellis is a huge homo but come on.

DiCaprio could win an Oscar. Great movie.

Hated leo after Titanic. Thought he was one of those hollywood queers.

After that, he got enough name to be able to pick his roles, and he has done a masterful job of doing so.

Leo is easily one of the best actors out there and I hope he continues to get snubbed by the awards people so he continues to work hard.

It's a the point where I will watch a movie simply because he's in it.

I loved this film. I have never laughed so hard at a movie that wasn't supposed to be a comedy.
