    Jumping on this workout train
People are starting to get on a fitness kick around here. Figured I'd try to get on a diet/workout regimen as well.

5'9" tall and 246 lbs. at the moment. Planning to lose 3 pounds a week until I get down to about 155-160. Will be updating with progress every week.

That's really awesome man! You want to come up with a workout plan.

Are you planning on just doing cardio? Weight lifting? I would be glad to help you with a plan!

Just do something physical every day where you break a nice sweat and eat the right foods and you will lose weight

Gotta watch the drinking too.....Don't have to quit but the less the better

I've generally weight trained since HS, but I didn't do any weight training for a about a year and I just ate real bad and put on about 60 pounds over the last year or two. Like most people, I would say, who are serious about weight training and fitness, I have a copy of Arnold Schwarzenager's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding and I try to reference it pretty frequently. right now I have just started back upper body weight training and I plan on incorporating lower body later on. Of course, I also only train my upper body once every 48 hours and will do the same for lower body so as to allow my muscles to rebuild.

I guess the best way I can describe it is I have a good bit of knowledge about healthy living, I just have obviously never seriously put that knowledge into practice. I am trying to change that now.

As for diet I have started trying to eat 3 servings of vegetables a day, 2-3 servings of fruit a day, and 2-3 pieces of fish a day (for my protein), and a drink 2 vitamin waters a day, while maintaining a daily diet of less than 1,500 calories. Later on I will probably start incorporating protein powder back into my diet.

As for cardio, right now I am just trying to do about 2 hours of walking a day. I don't like running, but I like walking around my new neighborhood in GA and listening to my I-Pod. Later on I will start running.

So, that is what I am doing right Now. But, any advice/tips/opinions from you or anyone else are greatly appreciated!

The same Bubble people know from the videos isn't going anywhere, he'll just being losing fat, building muscle, and trying to improve himself every day while still stayin' on his grind!

No that's not me. That guy's bigger than me, knows how to use Paint, and I ALWAYS wear an Ed Reed jersey.

It's definitely tough to put knowledge into action sometimes... Glad you seem to know what you're doing though! If you need any supplements at all, hit me up and I can give you recommendations. (I'm a little biased. I sell for Advocare, but I would recommend non-Advovcare as well)
