Hi everybody.

Your pal Nasher is up early today as he has an action packed Monday in store.

First make the coffee, then make a new batch of iced tea for the cotton mouth my meds give me.
Then it's hop in the shower time as your pal that is Nasher has to go for a blood test so I can have my last operation on my hip so I can walk and run and do all the things again I used to do when I was a young whipper snapper.

Oh, there's plenty more on tap and I'm sure you're dying to hear about my daily minutia But for now I need to stop typing and call the pharmacy and see if my pain killers are ready.

Be careful, calling the pharmacy to see if your pain medicine is ready with the intent to take it as soon as you get it is not a good sign. I know you've been good with them in the past, and I know your mentality with it is like mine, but be careful.

Think back to when you would have never made that call, and just let the process play out.

Now your making that call. It's a tough, insidious little battle here, we're both in the trenches. We are winning, but the war doesn't seem to end.
