It’s been about 10 weeks since Eduardo Rodriguez twisted his knee while trying to catch a fly ball in batting practice. He’s still not at 100 percent.
Rodriguez, the Red Sox’ 23-year-old left-hander who was once called a future No. 1 starter by president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski, will not be rejoining the major league club this week.
After the club put Rodriguez through strength tests on Monday, Sox manager John Farrell said that Rodriguez needs to make a fourth minor league rehab start on Friday in Triple-A Pawtucket.
“At a minimum,” Farrell said.
Rodriguez said he’s happy with the decision. His velocity has been topping out around 93 mph. He maxed out at about 98 mph last season.Comment -

drinking ice cold liquids cools your body more than putting ice on your head/neck. it cools your organs internally from within. cold towels good too though. sunscreen, hat, also eating food. food absorbs the water like a sponge, stays in your system like a time release. water passes through quicker on an empty stomach/dont absorb it as well. coconut water helps me stay hydrated, don't forgot your salts, potassiumComment -
