Can't believe basketball season is almost over. Time flies when you're old. I was gonna tail you but I thought that would be bad joo-joo first game of the season. I will be happy if I place anywhere out of absolute last place,which with my knowledge, is a distinct possibility. If I even finish the season.

he was at zero units and in one week went up to 50 units before his countdown hit zero

Besides the Cards over 88 I bit on the Padres over
5 places that I checked had Padres over 84.5 for -115 (one even for -120

all but one... which is shocking AND STILL AVAILABLE even after the trade for Kimbrel
and thats Caribsports had, and still has Padres over 83 @ -105
anyone who has been stalking that over on Pads knows that is a gorgeous line/total and price

The way im thinking about the trade for Kimbrel is that its common sense to assume their overall win total
will go up , in some way... directly because of him. The loss of the 2 prospects
were not important to this particular bet because all that matters is how many they win this year,
not is this the best trade 5 years from now.And the loss is fine since they have 4 MLB ready outfielders in Justin Upton,Wil Myers,Kemp, and solid back up Will Venable

Their pitching is solid 1-4 with the talented (but constantly hurt Morrow taking the 5th spot)

Joaquin Benoit now gets away from the closer slot and
fits into a above average set up man with Kimbrel in the 9th

What Im tryin to keep in mind is that the Padres came out @ 85.5 -115 ish when lines hit the market ....
and submitted the trade couple hours ago with a closing line of over 83 for -105 after the Kimbrel addition

Thanks to scheduling they get to face Kershaw and the Dodgers in their house
