He is right. Last night during the Heat/Pacers game there were 3 posters talking about the game for about 2 hrs. Maybe 20 posts on PT for 2 hrs. At SBR's prime there were about a 1000 posts per hr on PT. All things must come to an end.

I agree. SBR is not the worst but the golden era of sport gambling forums is over. I am amazed it actually lasted so long. SBR lasted a few years more because of the points concept but this alone won't let it survive.

I'd have to disagree pavy - the difference is people have finally clued in to go to the subforums. I had to mod all the threads after that game and there were heaps of people talking. Posters have finally clued in after being attacked by some weird PT clique that if they wanted to talk sports and gambling to go to the appropriate subforum and they've realised they'll still get as much attention there, only without the bashing and whatever. Traffic always slows this time of year and we've had these threads for the 3 years I've worked here same time every time but now if you want to talk about a game, head to the subforums. Seriously.

Again, look at the NBA subforum. People were chatting. Just not in PT.
The inside jokes, the slamming each other, the slang, the sperm thing,
etc. Yeah it's all awesome and I loved it but it turned people off. Hell
a new legit person would post and we'd hammer them crying ghost or
"never heard of ya pal". They're all in the subforums now. Either way,
