LOL there are a lot of blacks and white trailer trash as customers. A whole lot of mexicans cooking. I went there once 4 yrs ago hung over as hell with a few of my buddies. It was good

Went there a couple of years ago......and as was said, it was full of obese redneck trailer trash and obese blacks with hispanics cooking it up. Food is second rate but better than I remember Ryans being.

Golden Corral is pretty popular with blacks and rednecks. Wouldn't go near one. Its Old Country Kitchen buffet that is populated with old people. They have a fire mountain here too, which sucks.

The food is really catered to a certain "type" of people. I'd best describe it as "southern". Fried chicken, cold slaw, "steak", catfish, corn...you name it.

Used to know someone that worked as a server there and she told me one time some old timer was eating and all of a sudden he died right there at the table. I was like DAMN. She also told me there has been 4 deaths in the restaurant since they've opened...

this is where i take the family for thanksgiving. they are never grateful when i spend all night cooking a special meal for them. so i stopped doing it. now i just load up the mini van and take those ungrateful pricks to golden corral. they just have to eat fast enough because we leave 30 minutes before the cowboys start playing.

Its ideal for the walmart crowd ... have been a couple of times ... cheap food ... mostly everything just tastes the same.
I'd rather pay a few dollars more and hit a casino buffet.

There are two GC's here and they're both in walmart strip malls

That said if I go to work and am a little hungover it's a solid place for lunch once every couple months.

I have a Golden Corral close to me......The food was ok for the money.....Thought it was a notch above Hometown Buffet IMO.

I'm losing weight now. So buffets are off limits for me.

You get what you should expect for all you can eat for about $10. The food is decent and some is very good. Salad bar, the rolls, and desert bar is very good. You just have to pick and choose on the food. Alot of it is "comfort" food.
