Hexversi has the same rules as the game Othello but it's on a slightly bigger and different shaped board. You might know the game Othello from your youth. It looks like this:
Basically.. the rules are... you have to "trap" your opponents pieces between your pieces and then they become yours. However, the pieces being trapped are not permanently yours as they can always be trapped themselves. Unless of course you get a corner... as it can not be trapped. The rules are sort of hard to explain online.. but once you play just one game the rules become pretty obvious. I could teach just about anyone how to play this in person in less than a minute.

Look for an Othello or Reversi tutorial. Hexversi has the exact same rules but the board is slightly bigger and shaped in a Hexagon instead of a square.
