Just found out about this. My roomate was stationed with these two guys in texas and best friends with one of them whose denying the allegations. Supposedly the other guy was crazy and he thinks probably did it but don't understand why he admitted to doing it to them.

Looks like guilty by association for his buddy. Sounds like with all the tension over this it won't end well for them. What you guys think?

          What's wrong with you?

They deserve to rot in prison if these allegations are true.

It is very obvious that none of these so called people have daughters or sisters of their own otherwise they would never act this way. They deserve to be treated just as they treated these people.

whats wrong with you? How do you know these allegations are true? One guy admitted to it and best of luck to him but this other kid could have been an innocent bystander. Because he was present he deserves this sort of treatment? The problem with the system is these kids won't get any breaks and the judge over there is only going to hear what he wants to hear.

i think it's much more disgusting and irresponsible to do it and cover it up than to post about it, so we agree to disagree

"In May 2009, Barack Obama announced he would not comply with a court order that would have brought hundreds of meticulously documented cases of rape and sexual assault from prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan to the forefront of public debate and scrutiny."

Are you suggesting he was present but didn't try to stop it? "Innocent bystander" alright

agree with lou here, but "innocent until proven guilty" should probably be the case.

                    if found guilty, be STRICT.

don't forget when this happened in 1995 in okinawa by the u.s. troops, one of the perpetrators got off easy and then returned home to the states where he raped and killed an 18 year old college student.

Well they were leaving the bar so must have been fairly intoxicated and you know as well as me stopping somebody from doing something is hard to do. Nobody wants to rock the boat. All I'm trying to say is if h is infact innocent, whether he did everything he could to prevent it or not, hes going to get the wrong side of the stick due to the negative media story

the people i know (friends/family) that have come back from overseas tours the last 10 years or so have mostly come back messed up in the head. they drug the heck out of these poor kids with ritalin to get them to think it's ok to take another human's life.

some guys that wouldn't have hurt a fly come back angry and completely different.

I agree strongly with this. Dont get me wrong we need a strong military and I appreciate what people do for the good of the country however the way the government goes about it I don't agree with. I can't tell you one of my friends that have been overseas that hasn't changed a bit since. It's not necessarly bad but they almost can't think logically from all the crap outside of simply protecting OUR country from would be enemies. I'm preventing myself from going off tangent on this topic as this is one of my big pet peeves up there with welfare etc.
