"A lawmaker in New Hampshire has apologized and resigned from the state's House of Representatives, a day after posting a comment on the Internet that speculated about the death of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

In a public letter to the House speaker Thursday, Democratic Rep. Timothy Horrigan expressed regret for bringing "this House into disrepute," Politico reported.

On Wednesday, Horrigan posted a comment on Facebook speculating that a dead Palin would achieve martyrdom.

"I don't wish Sarah Palin dead . . . but not merely for compassionate reasons," Horrigan wrote on Facebook. "I also want her to live because a living Sarah Palin is less dangerous than a dead one."

This is the type of desperate, senseless, and utterly stupid remarks we have grown to expect from Democrats. These are the type of people that Liberals love and adore. How desperate are you Liberals going to get? The Liberal ship is sinking. All we can hope if that it takes people like this moron down with it.

With every multi-BILLION dollar pork social program that they pass, the democratic party is digging the United States into a deeper and deeper hole. The amount of damage that Obama/Pelosi/Reid have done to this country in 20 short months is staggering and we have to endure at least another 4 months of it.

We need to step on the gas and make sure the democrats receive the thrashing they deserve come November as the very existence of the United States of America depends on it.

One of the keys to the last major elections was voter turnout, demographics, and loyalty. The people that would have benefited from Obama's vast social programs voted in mass. If the middle class would have turned out and just voted Republican it would have carrried the day. DO you think it will be different come November? The people that benefited from the social programs will vote in mass and will vote Democratic. If the Republicans can not motivate their own to come out and vote, they deserve to lose

The White Male vote is strongly Republican now. It is up to the various Republican State Parties to get their voters out to the polls, because the Democrats will not be able to do so. If the GOP gets their people to the polls, the Democrats lose 4-5 Senate Seats, and possbile control of the House. Even if the Democrats manage to hold on to the House, the margin will be so thin that the Blue Democrats will kill anything that the radical Pelosi brings up. This is the beginning of the end for the Liberals who are running this country.

Based on the size of the border guard corps in Eastern Europe during the cold war it will take 350,000 troops to secure our 2,000 mile border. Sending 1,500 national guard and then hiring 1,000 new border patrol is an insult to our intelligence.
3. Refusal to have the head of wikileaks arrested for espionage.
4. Charlie Rangel, do I need to say anything more?
5. Suing Arizona for trying to secure the border on their own.

Well the list goes on and on.

The DemoCong are going to lose control of both the House and the Senate.

No they don't. The traitor Faisal Abdul Rauf said during an interview on an Arab news program that the main purpose of this building was as an outpost of Dah' wa, Taqiyya, and Aslim Tuslam. These are all strategies for the spread of Islam rule, the re-establishment of the Caliphate, and the reeducation of "moderate" Muslims in orthodox Islam along with the refusal of Muslims to accept secular law but to insist that they will only accede to Sharia law.

Bush did TARP, Obama did the Wall St. bailout and the GM takeover. Obama has also done many other bailouts in the name of yet another "jobs bill". The excuse that the Wall Street firms were "too big to fail" just shows the ineptitude of both the Bush administration, the Obama administration, and Congress. We have a law for dealing with corporations that are "too big to fail", it is called anti-trust. The Resolution Trust program showed how to deal with these large failed institutions. Take them over, fire the crooks/idiots, prosecute the crooks, infuse some money to make the assets viable again, then sell off the assets.

But, I didn't say that people are upset over the 1 trillion dollars of our money that Obama has given to the crooks, I said that they are upset because he gave 1 trillion dollars to the crooks and gave $600 million to defend our borders.

As far as GM failing if Obama did not become the Iacoca in Chief, Obama did not save GM, GM was going to be just fine after bankruptcy. What Obama did was to SAVE THE UAW by making the GM obligations to the UAW whole while making first place collateralized debt holders get nothing. This was absolutely illegal. If GM had gone into normal bankruptcy it would have come out without still being beholden to the UAW and without the huge obligations they have to the UAW. Oh, and Chrysler was GIVEN to Fiat basically for free.

No, the border is a matter of 360,000 border guards and an effective border fence with watchtowers, detection devices, and all the other technology needed to secure the border. Many countries have proven that you can secure a border.

The border could be secured in a week if the reserves were called up and 360,000 troops put on the border.

All solid points based in fact and not in hyperbole The 1200-1500 Natl guard troop push is the biggest joke of all....not ONLY have they been ordered to not interfere in any proactive arrest/patrols....but anyone else here know how units mob? Out of this 1200 it will be broken down into tasks....so the ACTUAL on site presence in the field will be less than 140 or so or less. S1 section (admin) S4 (supply) and S6 (techs) make up the biggest part of the unit...Active duty units task out some of this to civilian govt employees...but Natl Guard is state run so these will be AGR (active guard positions). And lastly...notice when Obama and Napolitano speak on it they say "...up to 1200" not 1200. So they'll be lucky to have as much ground covered on the border as event staff at a county fair.

Actually, the voting masses are going to come out in 2010 and 2012. Conservative democrats, almost all independents and almost all Republicans are EXTREMELY motivated to vote in 2010. The bros and the homies aren't going to vote because they thought "hope and change" meant huge wealth redistribution programs for them. But, Obama double crossed them and redistributed the wealth to the Unions, the Insurance companies, the states, and all the bailouts instead.

When Obama was nominated by the DemoCong as their candidate for the upcoming election I started watching black talk shows to see what he was all about. There are these round table discussions on CNN and CSPAN where different groups discuss issues. I found several all black discussion groups who were talking about how things were going to change and EVERYONE one of them talked about the huge money streams that were going to start flowing into the black communities. Obama did not deliver on that expectation.

I didn't say that Obama made those promises, I said that was the expectation of the people on the talk shows. Obama did not meet their expectation. Many people got all worked up by "Hope and Change" painting pictures in their own minds what "Hope and Change" meant. Their expectation was not met. Now they aren't worked up any more. Current polls show a huge discrepancy between how energized conservative voters are vs how un-energized liberal voters are.

And how would you enforce this keeping illegals out of the jobs? To do that there would have to be a national database of all employees including picture, SS#, copy of birth certificate, biometrics, etc. EVERY applicant for a job would have to be screened against the database.

You really think that Americans are going to stand for that?

The border has to be secured first. And it can be for about $20 billion a year.
