In 1978 on “Meet the Press” leading climate experts reported that in 40 years (which is now) climate conditions would be so severe that children would require gas masks to play outdoors.

This is a perfect example of hyperbole.

I’m still laid up rehabbing hip and knee issues so I have time on my hands which I’m utilizing wisely and I’m currently in the middle of Time Magazines special climate issue (double issue). This issue is 112 pages and deals with only one topic which is climate change.

Now I’m not a big fan of Time and a few other publications because I believe they have agendas that cloud the reporting but I’m entering this edition with an open mind.

I’m going to report back to this thread as I get deeper into this 112 page magazine, I’ll say this much though, the reporting so far is pretty fair.
