Who the Hell is Jussie Smollett? He claims he was jumped by MAGA guys in Chicago

Guy claims that he was jumped by 2 white men in ski masks at 2 AM in Chicago's north-side. As they roughed him up, they used all kinds of racial slurs along with mentioning that he was on the show Empire. They also poured bleach on him and placed a noose around his neck, while hollering that he was in "MAGA Country"

The whole "You're in MAGA country" came from TMZ, where the cops called Jussie to confirm if it were true, to which he did. However, he didn't initially say anything about it in the police interview though.

3 things that I don't get about this story:

1.) Is Chicago MAGA country? I always thought that it was nearly all Democrat?

2.) Who carries around bleach and a noose in zero degree weather hoping that they run into a gay black "TV Star"

3.) Do MAGA Trumpers actually watch Empire?

This has been the irony of bodycams for cops too. It has proved that cops don't treat blacks worse, if anything, better, and b) shows blacks to be liars on average regarding encounters. Thousands of examples already where the video shows they make shit up.

Jussie Smollett Investigators Have Persons of Interest in Attack


BREAKING NEWS

Cops investigating the Jussie Smollett attack say they finally have a lead from surveillance video ... but they're gonna need the public's help to locate multiple persons of interest.
Chicago PD says detectives were able to find a camera angle that revealed "persons of interest wanted for questioning" in the assault and battery of the "Empire" star. Cops are careful not to call the people suspects in the case.
Police say they'll be releasing images of the persons of interest shortly.
TMZ broke the story ... Jussie says two men in ski masks jumped him, beat him up, doused him with bleach and left a rope around his neck before fleeing. He says they yelled, "MAGA country" as they got away.
We know the attack happened somewhere near Jussie's residence in Chicago, and that police were reviewing cameras -- city-owned and from privately owned buildings in the area.

The manager for Jussie Smollett is now claiming that he was on the phone with him during the attack and heard everything including the racial remarks being made.

Now if this is in fact true, why in the Hell would you not call the police immediately? What would possess you to not call the cops to get help for your client/friend when he is out alone in the cold being attacked?

We've confirmed Jussie's manager Brandon Z. Moore told police he was on the phone with Jussie during the alleged attack. Brandon says he told cops he clearly heard the MAGA comment as well as the racial and homophobic slurs. We know the attack happened somewhere near Jussie's residence in Chicago, and that police were reviewing cameras -- city-owned and from privately owned buildings in the area.
