In other news there are mass shootings every week and journalists are being killed by the Saudis because of trump demonizing the press....but glad to hear you’re somehow up 50 percent while everyone else is losing.Comment -

No retort to the amount of jobs doubling in two years? Writers cramp?
No retort to wages rising the fastest since you were trying to figure out your sexual identity?
How about this one; 4.4 million good folks have come off welfare under trump?(zero of those were SBR'ers btw)Comment -

#49Trump's popularity makes perfect sense to me but I don't feel like explaining it all. To sum it up quickly, he was elected after 8 years of a black liberal President. Many people wanted a change from that. Why do his followers remain so loyal to him? People don't like changing their minds on things especially if it means admitting they were wrong. They would rather pretend that they are right.
Have you ever seen the show Let's Make a Deal? When Monte Hall opens 1 door and shows the person a goat he then asks them if they want to change their mind. How often did they do so? Almost never. People don't like changing their mind if they think there is a chance that they might right. Should they have changed their mind in this situation? Mathematically YES they should change their mind every single time if they want to double their chances of winning(for anyone that doesn't understand the math I can explain it to you quite simply). Somehow this simple math equation fooled many many morons for several years. Even people that thought they were good at math were fooled by it. Trump is essentially doing the same thing.
Things are always easier to view objectively when several years have passed. Slavery seemed like a good idea a couple of hundred years ago. Not so much anymore. A popular song or popular movie comes out and people think it's the greatest thing ever. A few years go by and suddenly everyone realizes it sucks and it's always sucked. 10 years from now when everything has come out about Trump most everyone will realize that he sucked and he always sucked... And... those who supported him will realize they should have changed their mind.Comment -

Except we still have Obamacare, Trump spent all the money Mexico paid for The Wall giving free stuff to Welfare Queens, and there are now more Liberals in Washington than there were before Trump took over. #52Cult leaders arise from decayed communities and societies in which people have been shorn of political, social and economic power. The disempowered, infantilized by a world they cannot control, gravitate to cult leaders who appear omnipotent and promise a return to a mythical golden age. The cult leaders vow to crush the forces, embodied in demonized groups and individuals, that are blamed for their misery. The more outrageous the cult leaders become, the more they flout law and social conventions, the more they gain in popularity. Cult leaders are immune to the norms of established society. This is their appeal. Cult leaders demand a God-like power. Those who follow them grant them this power in the hope that the cult leaders will save them.Donald Trump has transformed the decayed carcass of the Republican Party into a cult. All cults are personality cults. They are extensions of the cult leaders. The cult reflects the leader’s prejudices, worldview, personal style and ideas. Trump did not create the yearning for a cult leader. Huge segments of the population, betrayed by the established elites, were conditioned for a cult leader. They were desperately looking for someone to rescue them and solve their problems. They found their cult leader in the New York real estate developer and reality television show star. Only when we recognize Trump as a cult leader, and many of those who support him as cult followers, will we understand where we are headed and how we must resist.https://www.truthdig.com/articles/the-cult-of-trump-2/Comment -

Hillary and Obama told America that 0% wage growth and 1.5% GDP growth was as good as it gets. And they were right under their policies.
The working class said NO. Not good enough. We want a better deal. Trump starts in the Republican primary saying we are going to raise wages for the forgotten working class.Comment -

You must be joking.
64% of Trump's agenda already done, faster than Reagan- Leaving the Paris Climate Accord: In August 2017, Trump announced the U.S. was ending its funding and membership in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
- Repealing Net Neutrality: In December 2017, Trump’s Federal Communications Commission chairman proposed ending the 2015 network neutrality rules.
- Reshaping National Monuments: Heritage’s recommendation to prohibit Land Acquisition (Cap and Reduce the Size of the Federal Estate) was adopted by Trump when he issued two executive orders effectively shrinking the size of national monuments in Utah.
- Reinstating the Mexico City Policy: This executive order prevents taxpayer money from funding international groups involved in abortion and ending funding to the United Nations Population fund. On Jan. 23, 2017, in his first pro-life action, Trump signed an executive order today reinstating the Mexico City Policy.
- Increasing Military Spending: Trump’s budget calls for a $54 billion increase in military spending to improve capacity, capability, and readiness of America’s armed forces.
- Reforming Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF): The Trump administration adopted and is in favor of strengthening existing work requirements in order to receive benefits.
- Allowing Development of Natural Resources: The Trump administration opened off-shore drilling and on federal lands. Executive Order 13783 directed Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke to commence federal land coal leasing activities.
- Reforming Government Agencies: Trump tasked each of his Cabinet secretaries to prepare detailed plans on how they propose to reduce the scope and size of their respective departments while streamlining services and ensuring each department runs more efficiently and handles tax dollars appropriately.
- Withdrawing from UNESCO: In October 2017, Trump announced he was putting an end to U.S. membership in the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Wages growing at 0.2% cost Hillary and Obama dearly. And they had NO plan to raise them instead they told working folks to suck it up and stop complaining.
Now those working folks are seeing 3.1% wage growth.Comment -

#62Originally posted by TommieGunshotSo America is 64% Great Again? Only Sick Liberals would think that is a good thing. Half of those things are about making government bigger and more wasteful or restricting free trade or personal freedoms. The other half can be reversed on the first day of the next Democratic to be president. And because Trump even admitted he failed to fix the illegal voter problem, that could happen in only two years.

No one's gonna keep 100% of their promises for a couple reasons. First, politicians lie and second, the president isn't a dictator and thus has to deal with corrupt politicians on both sides. AKA the swamp. I am not stating anything you don't already know.Comment -
