    Guys, it IS working.

You want to go back to 0% wage growth?? Why?

Taxes were eliminated for the working poor as part of the tax cut. That's a lot more efficient than cutting checks. And yes, it is pumping up the economy.

In fact, most are worried we are growing too fast. The trade situation provides a tiny slow down. We need to keep doing what we are doing which is grow as fast as we can without overheating.

"Tax cuts for the rich" refer to Trump's corporate tax cuts.

They fail to understand those corporate tax cuts make the united states a more attractive region for investment--in comparison to foreign nations. The were designed to make ameirca more competitive from a business perspective.

Previous to Trump's cuts, the USA had the highest corporate tax rates in the world which repelled foreign investors.

          Basic breakdown 101.

At the expense of working people. Both sides of the equation can’t maximize profit and it’s clear to everyone (even Roy and the right) which side is maximizing their potential. It’s ceo’s and corporations.

The argument is that at least there are more jobs available making a dismal 3% more...

The amazing thing to me is that everyone in this thread is on the same side of the equation, there are no 1%’ers here, yet ya’ll are fighting their fight for them at your own expense. Baffles me

The reason america has freedom, rights and wealth is due to large corporations like the googles, apples, amazons, microsofts, teslas, space x's being here.

Canada, mexico, china and practically every nation on earth imposes severe and unfair tariffs against the USA as a form of protectionism to support their own local economies.

Wealth or success aren't issues, here. The problem is how money is distributed with CEO's and executives receiving an unfair slice.

This is a prime example of the government creating problems. Then blaming the private sector to push a socialist agenda. Problems the average american worker has can be traced back to the gov. Extremely high taxes which in turn make it difficult for employers to raise wages. Bad regulations and policies which excessively raise the cost of rent and real estate. You can't blame "corporations" for those problems, those are created by the government.

Have you ever noticed how americans can't bet on pinnacle and many other books? That's because of the government. They make it illegal under "regulation". They create many of the problems which give americans fewer options in life by making laws that are unnecessarily unfair, restrictive and plain stupid.

The media never calls the government on these issues. They only blame corporations and the private sector.

Not at all, you've seen all those jobs leave USA for years for China and Mexico, and their workers have seen a much better standard of living increase over the past few decades than our workers.

                  This is interesting.

You would rather have 0% growth, millions of working poor paying taxes and zero wage growth if it means CEO pay and businesses are hurt.

I've heard this from other far left'ers here.

When Hillary said 1-2% growth was as good as it gets I thought she misspoke. Now that taxes are cut and the economy is rocking at 4% the left is even more unhappy because corp profits and executive pay is also up.

Socialist economic justice is more important to you than wage growth for the working class and prosperity for the country. That's really why you guys keep losing. The working class is tired of not getting a raise.

Ehhhhh, judging from what I see daily in Southern California, i’d say most are drunks or drug addicts. If you’ve got 2 strong legs to walk up to my car, 2 strong arms to hold out for money, and a mouth and presence of mind enough to beg for money - - you’re not disabled.....

You know, it’s funny, and i’ve said this before - I drive all over Southern CA. the melting pot Mecca of the world, and get hit up daily by people begging for $$$$
NEVER, NOT ONCE, EVER have they been Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, or Hispanic. So, what’s in their cultures that the blacks & whites don’t have? Is it pride? Self-respect? Proper raising of the children?

The answer is “yes”. Blacks & Whites been too coddled for too long, so take your “mental disability” and stick it. If you’re “mentally capable” enough to walk up to my car and try to hustle me for $$$$ - then you can hold down a job.....
