I think this is an overstatement. Trump may be able to drag this out so long that impeachment is no longer viable. If he forces Mueller to issue a subpoena that's going to end up being decided by the Supreme Court and will take a long time to wind its way through. And then he'll be forced to testify. And then it goes from there, at least well into 2019. I think that's the course Trump has selected at this point.

But if he's really a lawyer, I'm looking forward to seeing his billing records for these $35,000 monthly payments. Costs advanced are treated very different from retainers and legal fees. Retainers have to be he;d until actually earned. You don't pay a "retainer" in exchange for a cost already advanced. I advance (small) costs sometimes and then I bill it and show it on an actual bill. How was this shown? Is it on billing records? What portion of the $420,000 was income and what portion was advancement or loan repayment?
