I almost get chills up and down my back when a real conservative has the balls to write and tell the truth. Just released yesterday. IMO, this is going to continue to happen within the conservative base, the real conservatives are going to be heard.

I am so proud of J Blake for telling it like it is. So refreshing.

Jeff Flake . A REAL Conservative. Who's next Susan Collins .

Bozell: Media Must Report the Facts About 'Imposter' Jeff Flake

On Tuesday, August 1, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued the following statement:

On behalf of my late father and my family, I am denouncing Senator Jeff Flake and his new book, dishonestly titled,
    Conscience of a Conservative.

Since entering the Senate in 2013, Jeff Flake has, time and again, proven he is part of the indulgent hypocrisy in Washington. While he waxes poetically about conservative principles, his Conservative Review Liberty score is an abysmal 53%, also known as: “F”. In 2013, I watched first-hand as Flake refused to sign a letter pledging to defund ObamaCare, among his many betrayals to conservatism. Jeff Flake is neither a conservative nor does he have a conscience.

As every conservative leader knows, my father, L. Brent Bozell, Jr., ghost-wrote Conscience of a Conservative for Barry Goldwater. While the Goldwater Institute may own the rights to the book’s title, neither the organization nor Senator Flake have the right to unjustifiably trade on my father’s work. Conscience of a Conservative is the greatest selling polemic in history, and Senator Flake is trading on its reputation to shamelessly promote himself and disguise his own conservative deficiencies. My father would be appalled to see this fraud as the author of the so-called “sequel,” which it most certainly is not.

The media need to know, when reporting on Senator Flake and his “book,” that the author is a deceiver out for personal and financial gain. I also call on my conservative brethren to denounce this impostor, who dishonorably claims to speak for conservatism, in the strongest possible terms.

        Here's another good one Dante.

Trump is the political version of a pickup artist, and Republicans — and America — went to bed with him convinced that he was something other than what he is. Trump inherited his fortune but describes himself as though he were a self-made man.

He has had a middling career in real estate and a poor one as a hotelier and casino operator but convinced people he is a titan of industry. He has never managed a large, complex corporate enterprise, but he did play an executive on a reality show. He presents himself as a confident ladies’ man but is so insecure that he invented an imaginary friend to lie to the New York press about his love life and is now married to a woman who is open and blasé about the fact that she married him for his money. He fixates on certain words (“negotiator”) and certain classes of words (mainly adjectives and adverbs, “bigly,” “major,” “world-class,” “top,” and superlatives), but he isn’t much of a negotiator, manager, or leader. He cannot negotiate a health-care deal among members of a party desperate for one, can’t manage his own factionalized and leak-ridden White House, and cannot lead a political movement that aspires to anything greater than the service of his own pathetic vanity.

He wants to be John Wayne, but what he is is “Woody Allen without the humor.” Peggy Noonan, to whom we owe that observation, has his number: He is soft, weak, whimpering, and petulant. He isn’t smart enough to do the job and isn’t man enough to own up to the fact. For all his gold-plated toilets, he is at heart that middling junior salesman watching Glengarry Glen Ross and thinking to himself: “That’s the man I want to be.” How many times do you imagine he has stood in front of a mirror trying to project like Alec Baldwin? Unfortunately for the president, it’s Baldwin who does the good imitation of Trump, not the other way around.

Hence the cartoon tough-guy act. Scaramucci’s star didn’t fade when he gave that batty and profane interview in which he reimagined Steve Bannon as a kind of autoerotic yogi. That’s Scaramucci’s best impersonation of the sort of man the president of these United States, God help us, aspires to be.

But he isn’t that guy. He isn’t Blake. He’s poor sad old Shelley Levene, who cannot close the deal, who spends his nights whining about the unfairness of it all.
For all his gold-plated toilets, Trump is at heart that middling junior salesman watching Glengarry Glen Ross and thinking to himself: “That’s the man I want to be.”

It's funny seeing right wing editorials turn against Agent Orange.

All this time they've put up with his grotesque personality and being an embarrassment to the country because they thought he would do all the terrible shit they want a republican president to do, so far they're just getting the embarrassment.

They must be starting to realize that the window of opportunity is closing and Pence is just as terrible but can actually get things done. We're fukked either way so we might as well just enjoy watching them make assholes out of themselves.

Has he went before mueller. Dude you are very simple. I guess you believe you get busted on day one TWINK. But if hillary killed seth rich shouldn't they be suing her instead of faux news and the trump campaign? But if we went by your beliefs from 3 months ago that is what they would be doing. Stop back after the 1st term of the presidency but hey maybe he'll snitch on the president. Now he committed most of his crimes in new york so even if trump does give him a pardon than it won't stop the state from proceeding with charges.

Offer stands for you just like Chicken Little .

Since you mentioned the word bet.

No Mueller recommendation to indict Kushner or any other thing criminal found against him.

                    Now go disappear.

Good find and good read, Dantea. Not only is it refreshing because a true conservative is telling the truth and taking an unpopular position within the GOP but the tone is also about personal responsibility. The author admitting that the monster was created by his party, that the GOP began losing sight of what was real when Obama got elected. He's saying that this is theirs to own and I couldn't agree more.

Part of the problem is most Trump supporters are like children, they can't admit when they're wrong so they just keep coming up with lame and illogical excuses as to why they believe Trump is great. It's sad to watch and know they will still have a vote next time around

                              that is funny

I am slowly changing my mind on Pence. He is simply crazy when it comes to social issues, he will at least run a normal WH, or so I think. However, having said that I still want this abortion to play out, I still want to discover all the criminality behind this family. I also once thought that his daughter and son-in-law would be a moderating factor. Nope, I was wrong. Hey crazies you see how easy it is to admit you were wrong? Not difficult, but can you people do it nope you cannot.

I agree TF we are probably better off with Pence, he will do some goofy shit too no doubt but at least he can be reasoned with at least he has some experience.

I just finished breakfast so I don't know if anything is happening politically as of yet. But, as far as I know, that transgender thing is still only a tweet. No more action on it? I will catch up.

exactly my friend, lol I just mentioned that to TF before I even read your reply.

yep, that was an excellent article by a principled R. I believe he is the man that DT said he will finance his opponent. Don't even know if that is allowed. Probably is. God we are witnessing an absolute abortion. And as you said the crazies know it, most of them know it, but they simply cannot say...geez I was so wrong about this guy. However, he has lost big time support in three key states. PA, Mich and the third escapes me I want to say Wis but not sure. However, he remains strong in WV and Ok. Well because WV people still believe coal is coming back. I feel sorry for those good people, I really do. They were hoodwinked.

                                Hope you are well.

                                  Again, correct.

And again I know I repeat myself but it is necessary. To make your point Kelly, I find it amazing that a political party that caters to 1 to 2% of the population manages somehow to at times receive 50% of the popular vote. But, that is changing. Every year many reliable red states are turning purple. Just a matter of time until Texas (of all states) is bright purple. Even states like Georgia will soon be changing. Why do you think so many of the crazy politicians are doing everything they can to suppress the vote. It is the only weapon they have left. If you have a brain you know that voter fraud is close to being nonexistent. Who in god's name would want to vote twice when they know if caught they will do long time in a federal prison? Tell me what criminal is crazy enough to do that? This issue was vetted over and over and almost absolutely zero voter fraud. The dishonest R will put a big push on this along with their crazy president, who just a short 7 years ago was an all out liberal. I am glad he left the fold, seriously who TF wants him.

Jeff Flake . A true conservative

I got more political views on this true conservative if you want.

Flake, during his primary, was dubbed “Sanctuary Senator” by his opponent for his amnesty views of immigration. Contrast that with what Trump won on — Obamacare repeal and tightened borders. And there’s your answer. Flake’s book may bring him a shiny moment in the sun with the left. But it’s alienating him with the conservatives who elected Trump. It’s showing him as part and parcel of the elitist and entrenched political class voters railed against in 2016.

Hey Chicken Little is back to discuss WG with you. You mentioned I know nothing about it. I will teach you the parallels between WG and the asshole you are defending. Are you interested.

And btw, what exactly are you defending. I don't even know what points you are attempting to make here. The only comment you keep coming back to is wagering and watergate. I warned people not to wager with your type because you can't win, if you lose your will not pay and if I lose I will pay. That is a lose/lose for me. Also I can negate your argument about WG if you care to engage. Last night you did not care, I am assuming you read up on the subject and now can defend yourself. Am I assuming wrong. Are you too fckin lazy to read even when it benefits you?

Just imagine this for a second guys/gals. Here we have people who admit to not reading or other individuals that it is so obvious do no real research. Okay, you might say so what. Okay fine. These are the same people that deny science. These are the same people that absolutely will not admit that anything is askew in the WH in spite of so much contrary evidence. So we have people that do no real research, deny science, and deny obvious facts. lol These are the idiots that so many of us attempt to engage with intellectually. Many of them don't have a GED. Not all, but many. These idiots attempt to debate and their weapons are complete BS like this idiot above.

When one is able to scratch the surface with many of them it becomes obvious they haven't one clue about one subject. I ask you, how can they? They don't read/research, they don't trust the world-wide media, and they don't see obvious facts, and they are uneducated. OMG.

Debating with brooks, dwightie and this guy is like debating with a garden snake. They have no intellectual ammunition. Am I wrong, if anybody believes me to be wrong please show me just three intellectual posts from any of those above names. Go ahead you have tens of thousands of examples. And please know I am not lumping all the conservatives with these three, simply many of them.

Okay JT, if you are ready, if you did some research we can start.

You see why guys/gals these guys are completely ignorant about everything. He uses J Flakes opponent comments as proof that J Flake is not a legitimate conservative. And he thinks this argument is perfectly legitimate. So how do you deal with an idiot like JT. How can you convince him that his brain is fcked up. You cannot. He has been indoctrinated his entire life with BS and lies and nonsense from the extreme right that nothing at all will convince him.

The irony of all this craziness, is we are now forced to support people like J Sessions and stand up for J Flake. The people who we have serious differences with we are defending. That is how crazy DT has made the political conversation in this country. Think about that for a second.

of course, you know I have the king of idiots on ignore. Jt is next but he would like that because he loses an antagonist, an antagonist that realizes he is an idiot and has no intellectual ammunition. I will never place dwightie on ignore, he is my source of entertainment.

I don't think I will ever understand how people who know they are idiots want to engage in political discourse. I mean come on, everybody and their brother knows brooks is a complete idiot, most realize dwightie is a moron. He won't realize this but a moron is a complement compared to an idiot. And our newest addition to the idiot club has really earned his stripes the past few weeks. Mr JT.

If gerrymandering changes and a fair way to represent districts is mandated the R party as we know it today will cease to exist. I don't mean that they will disappear, what I mean is that they will need to stop catering to the crazies and move to the center. If both parties moved closer to the center most of this crap would end. The extremes in both parties (although the left has fewer, much fewer) need to be marginalized. And I think that will happen. Not sure we will see it, but our kids and definitely our grandkids will. I can guarantee that.
