If he isn't more than likely he will be. He made lots of campaign promises that he couldn't deliver on. Also he has done nothing but lie(then again what politician doesn't). I think people are beginning to see through all the b.s. and realize that all he has done is expand on government and slowly eroding the american way. This has been in the making way before Obama, but has been fastracked since his election. Bush was terrible yes, but it is about to get a lot worse! It is kind of sad because he is a symble of hope to a lot of people.

I.E. Every President since they started polling with the exception of Kennedy.

That has nothing to do with the argument. The argument is that he's hated, not whether or not he's good at his job.

Im pretty sure the average American has been ignorant since the 30's as well, actually moreso, and those people had no problem disapproving of their leaders.

Bush (W) was widely hated. What he did with the office of the presidency was a disaster. Personally I just shrug at Obama. Just another political liar. The most amazing thing, initially, was that he continued along the Bush line, by not turning back legislation such as wiretapping of citizens. In the present system, with what the presidency is today (a tool of international corporations and bankers), I would not trust any US president.

A simple google search would have showed you that Obama's lowest numbers don't come close to the depths of Dubbya, Nixon, or even Carter.

And, this healthcare mess is probably Obama's largest threat to his popularity. Once it passes---and Americans get healthcare----his numbers will track up. Same with the economy. It will turn around---it always does---and who will get credit for it? The media will make certain Obama gets the credit.

Right now Obama is in his shiitestorm. But it too shall pass.

Bush's approval ratings were in the 20s and Republicans used the "He doesn't run the country according to polls" speech. Now that Obama is in the 50s, polls are suddenly a big deal. Imagine that.

As far as Obama and his ratings are concerned, comparing him to other president's lowest ratings is like comparing apples to oranges because Obama has been in office for less than 8 months. Only a die-hard liberal democrat who has really overdosed on the Obama kool-aid would believe Obama's current approval ratings will never get any lower during his term.

A correct interpretation of his declining popularity is the following:

Compare Obama's current ratings NOT to the lowest rating of all the former presidents but their rating at the same point in time of their respective administrations (Bush's ratings 8 months into his term as compared to Obama's rating right now).

Also, compare Obama's ratings when he took office to what it is today. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama has experienced the sharpest decline in presidental approval ratings in our country's history which makes him the WORST PRESIDENT our country has ever had (at least 8 months in).
