First it was "Romney paid no taxes!!" now its "Romney paid too much taxes!!"
So the leftists cheerleaded Harry Reid each time he went on the Senate floor and claimed Romney paid no taxes

So now that Romney released his returns and it proves he paid taxes, the left is now attacking him because he paid too much in taxes.

What is it going to be?

    Hypocrites

the point is, he did it to deceive people, because he knows this is a problem the media would eat up. He said before the lowest tax rate he ever paid was 13 percent, which we now know is bull-shit. He could of paid 12.1 min this year, and has paid that much in the past as his tax rate. he didn't claim the deductions on purpose so they wouldn't be below what he said before was the lowest rate he ever paid was.

this is all stupid anyways, he didn't release the parts that are important and the parts that everyone were looking for. We were actually just talking about this in my tax accounting class on why Rommney doesn't just release them if everything is so clean.

But, I will be glad when all this political bull shit is over with. Rommney will lose in a land slide in the electoral college as I have been saying for months and months is all that matters.

in a recent poll, Rommney is now down 14 pts in wisky. 54-40. He is doing so bad, Tommy thompson who is running for the senate seat left by herb kohls retirement blamed the huge shift in the polls on him.

he is now losing in the polls of polls in ohio by 6, getting his ass beat down in PA and Virgina. And hell even in North Carolina the race is back to a tie, iowa also is leaning strong obama.

I am tired of all these political ads, and tired of the local news breaking into programming to show Paul Ryan speech just because he is from my district and was born here. Just get this election over with, so Obama can move on with his agenda.

Show me this outrage by the left, is it a figment of your imagination?

Also don't get wood, this is just one more return. He should take after his dad and do them all. Never happen.

"I don't pay more than are legally due and frankly if I had paid more than are legally due I don't think I'd be qualified to become president," Romney said in an interview with ABC News back in July.

If I am not mistaken you are relatively new here, if you want to ignore the left why did you come. Do you guys ever make sense? Are you guys ever consistent? WTF are you talking about? You have 246 posts less than a month. Nice ignoring Chuck.

Right out of his mouth. He just disqualified himself to become president.

And it proves nothing. He released 2011 which was just prepared this week. The point is what shenanigans he was pulling when he wasn't under the microscope in a campaign

Romney pays more taxes than 'legally due,' disqualifies himself to be president

In July, the GOP presidential nominee was asked by ABC News about the tax rate he's paid over the years.

"I've paid all the taxes required by law," Romney responded, refusing to give an exact or estimated rate.

Romney continued: "I don't pay more than are legally due and frankly if I had paid more than are legally due I don't think I'd be qualified to become president."

Today, Romney released his 2011 tax returns and it was revealed that he paid an effective rate of 14.1 percent.
The campaign admitted that he limited his deductions for charitable contributions to conform to Romney's August statement, based upon the January estimate of income, that he paid at least 13 percent in income taxes in each of the last 10 years.

doesn't Harry Reid owe Romney an apology for flat out lying that he never paid taxes for 10 years?

When Romney proves that I'd say yes. So far he's released one more year and a letter from his own accounts. Back when I was still working I could have gotten my doctor, whom I golfed with, to write me a note explaining I needed a few days off for an number of BS reasons. Not to mention that note simply says he paid an average amount of "X." Don't think it's says he never paid zero for any year, does it?

If Romney wants people to believe him he'll need to release the actual taxes, not a note from his buddies.

that's good enough. His buddies? come on

Mitt Romney's campaign, in its latest attempt to respond to calls to release more years of tax returns, announced Friday that the Republican candidate averaged a 20 percent effective tax rate over the previous 20 years and never paid less than 13.66 percent.

Fox News IS his buddies too. I'll go get you a source or article from the Daily Kos that will spin this the completely opposite direction, would you believe it?.

If he releases the tax returns for the past five to ten years, or whatever he father claimed would be the right thing to do, I'll believe his claims about paying his legal fair share.

I had dinner out last night and the waitress was smoking hot. She brought my check and asked if I wanted to give her a tip when I handed her my DC. "Tip hell, I'd like to give you the whole thing... repeatedly!" Luckily neither she nor my girlfriend speak enough English to understand what that meant.

After Romney loses, he'll probably file an amended return for a refund claiming the additional charitable deduction, and nobody will know it because he'll be under no impetus to release it.
